Notes from museums in Washington D.C.

I stayed in Washington D.C. for three days and was overwhelmed by the art collections within the city. Sketching inside each museum was difficult. I didn’t want to linger too long on any one particular piece for fear that I would miss out on the many other significant works of art on view. Perhaps another 3-4 weeks in town would have helped me digest all that I saw.
